The best concert

During my life I have attended many gigs, but very few concerts; actually I have attended only two concerts in all my life. The last one, my favourite, was in 2018 at Matucana 100. The German free-jazz saxophonist, Peter Brötzmann, came to Chile to perform with his band and I really wanted to see him playing, but I couldn't afford the ticket. Fortunately a very lucky friend participated in a contest and the night before the concert he told me that he won a double-ticket! Then he gave me one of the tickets and we went to the concert for free.

This concert was a truly life-changing experience. Peter Brötzmann and his band improvised a very noisy jazz for about two hours, with some drum and bass solos, and, of course, several wild saxophone solos in which Peter screamed through his instrument. It's very impressive that at the time Brötzmann was 78 years old and had such lung capacity to play the sax for so much time. It was an unforgettable night.
